Point being he would clearly be in the top 5 in the division if listed as a SHW. And of course this changes in the other 4 weight classes, for better or worse(Mostly just worse).

Should Minowa have been moved/changed in weight class listing numerous times since 08 And currently be ranked as a SHW because technically he fights in the SHW division.
Active fighters over 266lbs based on current rating
((It would have gone SHW, MW, HW, LHW, HW, LHW, SHW, HW, SHW!! LOL thats alot of switching around to do :) ))

or should you just keep him in the LHW listing since he seems to keep himself around 195 consistantly although he never fights in that division.Active fighters between 187-206lbs based on current rating

Its an odd issue with him since most fighters who move around weight classes seem to find one in a short time or do small samples either finding a home or retreating back if the success does not carry. Minowa is much more chaotic as noted above with his 9 weight class movements in only the past 2 years (It goes much deeper if you turn back the clock.)

Where does he fit in the system. I would say SHW since thats what weight class he last fought in, but a 195 pound fighter is what he is.

Minowa is definitely a special case.

I kind of agree with Mike from Dream 14 in that I'd like to see him fight some 205(ish) fighters. That's obviously his weight class and where he'd fit in if he made a serious run. Clearly he is going to dabble at SHW, but I'm not really sure that is where he's going to stay. The truth is, he's kind of running out of people.

Maybe Minowa vs Tim Sylvia (300+ last I checked).

Since he's such a special case I honestly wouldn't mind moving him, especially if his next fight/two are still at SHW. If he ever decides to make a run at 205, it'd be very easy to move them back.
